Shade Structures |
|
T-Post
are typically used to cover bus stops, benches,
or used in situations where the application
requires a minimum number of posts on each end
of the structure, such as a drop-off area or
entrances. T-Posts are also commonly interlocked
in a series to cover vacuum islands at Carwashes. |
|
|
|
|
Back-To-Back
Cantilevers are basically two Single Post Cantilevers,
interlocked on the 27’ or 36’ sides
creating coverage for a double row of parking
spaces. Only two standard sizes are available,
as a smaller size would be a custom steel length
limit larger sizes.
An 36’ x 27’ Back-To-Back Cantilevers
cover six spaces and a 36’ x 36’
covers eight spaces facing each other.

|
Double
Post Cantilevers are typically used to cover
vehicles, or in situations where the application
requires the posts be only on one end of the
structure, such as a drop-off area or entrances.
Double Post Cantilevers are also commonly are
used at Carwashes and other service related
areas where post placement is a concern.

Double post cantilever, hip or pyramid standard
sizes are as follows:
Pyramid style
18' X 18' and 20' X 20' at heights from 7'
to 13'
Hip style
18' X 27' and 18' X 36' at height from 7'
to 13'
These sizes are just standard sizes other
sizes are available with our custom design
options.

Four-Post
Standard - Pyramid Structures are the most basic
structures of our standard line of structures,
therefore they are the most cost effective for
the shade provided.
|
|
|
All Pyramids roof styles are of equal measurements
on all sides, such as 18’ x 18’.
Four post units can be interlocked creating
a Super Structure (see: Super Structures)
or a Six-Post structure, (2) tops Standard
or (1) continuous top that is custom (also
See: Super Structures).
Pyramid structures standard sizes are as
follows:
18' X 18' in heights from 7' to 13'.
30' X 30' in heights from 7' to 13'.
These sizes are just standard sizes other
sizes are available with our custom design
options.

Four-Post Standard
- Hip Structures are the rectangle version of
the Four-Post Pyramid Structures, each of the
two sides are equal such as 18’ x 27’.
Custom Four Post
– Hip structures can be created once again
by interlocking two or more units, such as (2)
18’ x 27’ interlocked on the 18’
side creating (1) Six Post 18’ x 54’
with (2) tops Standard or (1) top Custom. Interlocked
on the 27’ side they create a 36’
x 27’, with (2) tops Standard or (1) top
Custom (also see: Super Structures). |
|
|
Hip structures standard sizes are as follows
18' X 27' in heights from 7' to 13'
20' X 36' in heights from 7' to 9'
18' X 36' in heights from 7' to 11'
These sizes are just standard sizes other
sizes are available with our custom design
options.

Four Post Windmills
are similar to a Four Post Standard with a two
layers of sail tops to create a unique appearance
and double the UV protection. Additional steel
and cables are required to support the sail
tops at different positions and hoops are different
than a typical Four Post Structure. |
|
|
|
|
|
The Hexagons
and Octagons are structures typically used when
a round appearance is desired. |
|
|
|
|
|
Single Post Cantilevers
are basically the same as a Double Post Cantilever
also typically used to cover vehicles, or use
in situations where the application requires
the posts be only on one end of the structure
and only (2) posts. Post placement and appearance
should be the difference between a Single Post
Cantilever and a Double Post Cantilever application.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Single Post Umbrellas
can be used to cover any area where one post
is the best structure for the application. Post
placement and appearance should be the deciding
factor to use Single Post Umbrella. The Single
Post Umbrella requires larger steel and more
labor, but well worth the expense for the size
and span. An 18’ x 28’ will usually
cover a vacuum island and a space on each side.

A Hypar/Sail
is a custom Triangle that may or may not be
equilateral. The main difference is that the
Hypar/Sail does not have any Hoops and spiders,
but rather utilizes cables and turnbuckles for
support.
A Hypar may have (3),
(4), or (5) posts or connection points. What
makes a Hypar different than a sail is that
at least one or more of the connection points
will be higher than the remaining point’s.
This provides a dramatic appearance.
Triangles are
very similar to a Four Post – Pyramid
except they only have three columns. They are
most effective when interlocked in a series
or used between two Hip or Pyramid structures
to create a curve in a series of interlocked
structures. Triangles must be equilateral; anything
different would be a Custom. All triangles have
a pyramid roof style.

|
|
|
Triangles - pyramid standard
sizes are as follows
18' X 18', 20' X 20', 25' X 25', and 30' X
30' in heights from 7' to 9'
These sizes are just standard sizes other
sizes are available with our custom design
options.

|
|
|
Super Structures
are used to cover large areas when interlocking
Four Posts structures with individual tops will
not fit the application. Super Structures are
either large span four post or six post structures
with additional steel to support the larger
spans between posts and heavier larger continuous
tops. Logos and lettering look great on these
larger tops |
|
|
|
Super structures - hip or
pyramid standard sizes are as follows
30' X 40' Hip with heights from 9' to 12'
40' X 40' Pyramid with heights from 9' to
12'
40' X 50' Hip with heights from 9' to 12'
40' X 60' Hip with heights from 9' to 12'
50' X 50' Hip with heights from 9' to 12'
50' X 60' Hip with heights from 9' to 12'
These sizes are just standard sizes other
sizes are available with our custom design
options.
